Today we headed south to meet up with some friends for a day in the Yorkshire Dales. This is an area full of stone-built villages set in beautiful scenery including the dramatic landscape in and around Malham. Parking at the pay and display in Stainforth we did a circular walk which took in Stainforth Falls as well as the picturesque village of Langcliffe. The return path followed the banks of the River Ribble and the day was rounded of nicely with a great pub meal at the Lister Arms in Malham.
