A New Years Day walk up Little Mell Fell and not surprisingly we weren’t the only ones who thought it would be a good idea to blow away the cobwebs before the bad weather came in. A short, but quite steep walk, directly from a parking place close to Hause Head and views of Ullswater from the top (below is overlooking Hallin Fell, see previous entry).
