The fine weather continues so we made a return trip towards Coniston and, starting from one of the National Trust car parks close to Tarn Hows, we headed up to the Tarn itself and on to Black Fell. Beautiful sunshine at the top, and with no wind it felt almost summer-like with views across to the Helvellyn Range, Lake Windermere and Coniston Water.
